About Focus Cell

Focus Cell is a small Chrome extension that makes working with large spreadsheets more comfortable.

The problem

When a spreadsheet grows wide or runs to thousands of rows, it is surprisingly easy to lose track of the active cell. You read across a row, glance away, and no longer know which record you were editing.

The idea

Focus Cell keeps the row and column of your active cell visually connected with a soft crosshair highlight. Your eye can follow a row across the screen or a column down the page without slipping onto the wrong line.

Our approach

Focus Cell is intentionally minimal. It does one job well, adds no new interface to learn, and keeps its permissions small. It only draws a highlight — it never edits, moves or deletes anything in your spreadsheet.

Who makes it

Focus Cell is built and maintained by an independent team. For questions, feedback or billing help, see the Contact section or write to us at the support address published on this site.
